Kate Rosson is no stranger in the Oxford community for the past 24 years. Her entrepreneurial background has served the Oxford business community greatly. Kate has a storied career from starting and selling an event planning firm, working in corporate communications with the American Cancer Society and serving as the chairwoman of the Oxford-Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. Taking all these skills, she started Parents of College Students Ole Miss in 2018 - a wildly successful online social media company aimed to serving the parents of the 20,000+ students with local Oxford and Ole Miss resources. She knows what parents want and need!
Born and raised in New Jersey, real estate has always been a passion of hers. When she was 14 she would be known for flagging listings in real estate magazines and begging her mom (who also was a Realtor) to go look at the houses. Kate loves digging for the best price and best return on investment on any deal. Her friends fondly call this knack of hers a “Kate Deal.”

Kate has earned awards like “Oxford Best Kept Secret,” Mississippi Business Journal’s “Top 50 Leading Business Woman,” Girl Scouts of America Distinguished Women of Oxford as well as being named “Community Hero” by Community Trust Bank & The University of Mississippi. Kate married an Oxford local, Brett, and they have two children - Barron and Southerlin.
